With numerous snow-capped peaks ideal for acclimatization and an established trekking infrastructure, Langtang is the perfect starting point for mountain adventures. Rising prominently near the Ganja-La Pass (5,122m), Naya Kanga (5,844m) provides a rewarding climb with spectacular panoramic views of peaks like Shisapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Langshisa Ri (6,310m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), and others.

The standard ascent route follows the northeast ridge, involving snow and ice, and begins with the Langtang Valley trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,900m). Several surrounding hills, such as Tserko Ri (5,001m) and Kyangjin Ri (4,773m), are ideal for pre-climb acclimatization and offer incredible views of the surrounding terrain.
